How often are you guys regripping your clubs?  I have had my AP2's for a little over a year now and have the original grips (Golf Pride Multi-Compound) on them. I live in Arizona so I don't need to worry about "all weather grips" since, well, we only really have one type (HOT!)

I am in ohio and play at least 3 times week for 6 months. I change my grips every spring. And you can sure tell the difference

I've found that if you clean your grips on a regular basis you can get pretty close to two full seasons out of the GP New Decade grips (assuming you're not hitting balls and playing every day).  Living in Arizona, I would think the other issue for you is keeping your clubs out of the heat when not playing to help with grip life.

    Barry,

I am fortunate enough to have a "golf club room" in my house.  We have a spare bedroom that contains only golf equipment so my clubs are always indoors and always well kept! :-)

  5. About once a year for me...

Sounds like I should probably regrip them this fall when the summer golf season ends.  I can do it during our overseeding period when a lot of golf courses are closed or just reopening and aren't quite playable yet.

I regrip every April and September so twice a year, now I play 2-3 times a week so over 100 rounds a year. I can realy tell the difference and I also clean my grips every week so that helps also.

I use GP MC and keep the grips pretty clean and play over 100 rounds a year. When the cord start wearing down, I replace them.

Minimum every season.  I may do so more often if I'm trying different grips out.  I blow my grips on with air so I don't have to cut 'em off.

Depends on the grip sometimes, but I try to start each season with a new set if I can.

I use the GolfPride MC and when the cord wears down, it is time to change......keeping them clean with a washcloth will help them last longer........I've had these over a year.....and I play at least three days a week........

I also use the GP MC grips and I change them out every spring right around this time as the golf season begins to kick in. The fresh grips get me ready to go for the year!

Thanks for all the responses!  I do clean my grips after every round and I keep them stored in my house (golf club room).  Since my 915 woods have arrived, I have noticed a significant difference in the brand new grips vs the other grips on my clubs.  Looks like I will get them all re-gripped hopefully this weekend.  Thanks!

Usually once a year but I like to clean clubs so it helps keep them nice. Interesting side note, I recently switched to Golf Pride MCC from Lamkin crosslines. The crosslines had 3 wraps on the (bought my ap2's slightly used). When I switched to standard MCC they felt way to small and I was starting to flip the club more. Went back and pulled the new grips and added 3 wraps left hand and 4 right hand and they are perfect. Really takes the hands out of it for me.

    Chris,

I did the same thing when I ordered mine.  I tend to be a "wristy" player so I added 3 wraps to help eliminate my hands and it truly has helped.  Amazing all the little things that contribute to the golf game.
