I know some people here have sent their putters in for customization.
What in your experience is the turn around time? I looked on Scotty's site, but could not find it.
Thanks

Jared,
I sent mine in for customization, restoration, regrip and shaft. I believe it all depends on what time of year it is. What their workload is and what you need done. It can range from a few weeks to a few months, but it is definitely worth the wait. If you are going to need your putter, wait until you have some down time or have a loaner putter so you don't jones about getting your putter back before all the proper work is finished. Scotty and his team are master craftsmen and women and you can't rush greatness. Good luck!

Im getting a top line milled in my X5 and custom paint fill.
Its still winter time here for quite some time, so I will be fine waiting. Just was curious about others experiences. I also have a second putter to work with on my BirdieBall putting green. It wont be the same thing, but the X5 is brand new, so I havent started to get use to it... All will be well. Cant wait to get it back, Im so excited to see my design in person.

I haven't done it yet, but everyone I talked to said to expect 6 weeks. Sometimes it'll be quicker, but that 6 weeks is a good estimate.

I have been fortunate to have send in 60-80 putters through the custom shop over the years. Having said that, the turn around time is 20 business days approx. for basic work (stamps, reshaft, regrip etc..), if you do a restoration it can take up to 6 weeks for completion.
Just depends on the type of work you are having done, I had 8 putters there in Nov/December and none took longer than three weeks for the basic work I had done (reshaft, regrip and loft/lie adjustments). In fact a couple were done in about one week!
Good Luck!

I have sent Scotty several and they've always come back beautifully crafted. They take anywhere from 30-45 / days - so always have a back-up putter in hand.

It does say on the site I believe 20-50 days, at least i saw that when i filled out the form..
For me, the turn around time was a little over a month... I waited until the snow dropped and then sent it in.... When i got my putter back, not only did the customizations look sweet but my putter looked BRAND NEW and didn't even ask for a restoration...
Highly recommend doing it... IMO, it's worth being without a putter for a month or so to get this done...
Good luck and share some pictures after it's been done...

Jared-
the website for custom shop gives you times 20 days for custom orders is what it says (I have my Futura X5R in right now). It's a bit longer for restoration as you can imagine but I don't remember the exact duration. Hope this helps.
