  1. I am currently playing the Titleist 704.CBs. That was a move from the old 822s, and now I feel that I can move forward to another club, but I am not sure which set I should get. I like how the AP2s are a bit more forgiving, but I love the classic look and feel of the 710s. Any suggestions?

I would go and get fit so you can hit both and then make your decision. I was fit for the AP2's during the winter and absolutely love these irons. They are great for my game and I couldn't be happier. The 710 CBs are definitely a hot looking iron and I'm sure they are killer. Either way, you can't go wrong once you find out which one works best for your game. Just my two cents.

The 755's are a great iron. Definitely one of the best in my opinion. I would say the AP2's are definitely worth hitting if you're in the market. Go for the fitting experience to see what will work best for you. It is worth the time and it was a lot of fun.

The AP2's are similar the the 710's in a few ways, but overall, they are different clubs made for different styles of play.

    -They are both player's irons.

-They both have a thin topface.

-They both allow workability off the fairway and tee.

There are also a few differences.

-710 CB's are MORE of a players iron compared to the AP2's.  They do not offer as much forgiveness, focusing more on workability.  If you are not a 10 handicap or lower, I suggest the AP2's.  You will need to work at the range a few times a week to be able to consistantly hit the 710's.

-Depending on how many times a week or month you play, the 710's or AP2's could be better.  If you play multiple times per week, scoring in the low 80's and high 70's, the 710's are better.  If your clubs sit in your trunk for most of the week, and you play weekends with your buddies, and shoot in the low to mid 80's the AP2's are better.

Also, personal preference is key.  Try them both out, and figure which one you perfer, feel wise.

    I hope this helped!

I am a 5 handicap and have recently switched to the  AP2's from 690 mb's.  It really was a seamless transition.  The feel is still there for me, and I can work the ball just fine.

But getting fitted for any club is a must.

I game the AP2s and they feel great and one of the most forgiving player's irons i have hit.  But, to be sure go to a custom fitting center at a pro shop or a superstore to see whats best for YOU.
