I have heard about this myth. Is it real? And if it is what are its stats? When is it going to be released? I hope it is real. I am excited.

Hi Padraic, As you may know, we do prototype testing on tour to validate and test clubs before we bring them to production. Some products never make it to market, others go back to the drawing board. The D5 is a prototype that was requested by Adam and is being tested on Tour. It is a smaller headed driver with similar launch and spin as the D3. Adam did test both the D3 and the D5 and ultimately chose the D3. It is continuing to be tested by players on tour and until that testing is complete, we have no further plans.

Out of curousity, what size head are they using on the D5?

I saw Adam Scott with the D5 and thought my eyes were deceiving me. It would of been cool to see this come to fruition. Not sure if you have been able to be fit or try the 915 D3 but it is a pretty amazing driver. I don't think we will not need a D5 when we can just step down to another awesome club; the 915 F or Fd. The numbers across the board for the 915 Line is pretty much technology at it's finest.

Cath Thanks for all your input on this topic, I saw the update from Adam on another site and it was interesting that he still came back to the D3...shows that Titleist obviously got it "right" and we can play the same club if we desire!

I'm still playing the 983e as I can't find a better driver with a smaller head. 400cc would be about my limit! I'll take th d5 at 400cc straight away if it ever went into production!
