Wow, it is amazing how much the lofts and lies can get knocked out of wack!!! 20 minutes later we are ready for the weekend tournament! I was told it should be done every 4 months... What do you think?

Now I need to find a Putter Loft and lie machine... Newport Mid-Slant, maybe that's my problem...:)

I think every 4 months on the same exact machine is a pretty good rule, but if you play more than average...once a week...I might check them every two months.

We've got a Cameron fixture....  in Austin Texas, :)

Trip through the Cameron Custom Shop is not a bad idea either.

Is this more common with blade putters as opposed to mallet head putters.   I never thought too much about putter adjustments until i watched Brad Faxon's trip to the putter lab.   Very impressive technology.   As he's one of the best, maybe for me it's time to seek more info

    Thanks

No...I'd say all putter designs can get pushed around.  Especially the loft.

    Thanks RC.  I

have no idea what the loft and lie is of my putter,.  Pretty much adjust on the putting green and feel confident.  i never had much of a problem with distance or roll.   If I ever get to a machine, i'll sure check out the numbers.

The loft on the putter will only be altered if you mishandle it. Generally, the every day putting stroke is pritty mild compared to the stroke taken with an iron.

However, the loft and lie of you irons should be checked at least every midseason.  if you play 3or 4 times per week, then every 2 months.
