How much of a gap should there be between your wedges and how often do you replace? do you ever try different combinations of degrees when you play?

I him my pw 135, 54 115 and 58 95yds. I replace my 54 and 58 yearly.

I would say ideally you would want 3-5* difference in all of your wedges. A big thing that matters is how well you handle them on partial swings. If you can handle them well on half swings you should have every yardage covered. I stick with a 50,54, and 58* in my wedges and change them every year.

NICK AND JOSH...WHAT IS YOUR HDCP?
HOW OFTEN DO YOU PLAY? HOW MANY MONTHS A YEAR?
I WOULD THINK IT WOULD TAKE A COUPLE OF MONTHS JUST TO GET THE FEELING OF NEW WEDGES,,,AND THEN CHANGE THEM OUT EVERY YEAR. YOU BOTH MUST BE VERY GOOD PLAYERS.
DOGLOSKI - I'm a 0 and play year round. I play approx 1 / week and try and practice 1 time per week. My theory on switching wedges is that I try and buy my new ones in Dec / Jan and break them in slowly. I mostly hit balls with them for the first few weeks and try and gague my yardages. I will bend them if necessary to keep my yardages where I like them. Switching every other year is not a bad thing, I would switch when you see your ball not reacting like you want it to on the greens. Good Luck.

I am a low single digit handicap. I play year round and will play and or practice short game a few times a week. I dont wear out my wedges but just like the looks of a new set to start out the year.
