Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting a new driver. I've been looking at the 910 series alot. which one do yall prefer D2 or D3?

I have the 910 D3 and really like it.  Even though it is several years old now, I think it is still competitive when compared to today's more modern drivers.

If you have consistent ball striking, get the D3.  If your impact varies across the face a bit more, get the D2.

I purchased the 910D3 when they first came out and when the 915 come out the end of this year, I plan on purchasing a 915D2.......of course I will be testing it first and maybe going to a lighter shaft.......the new technology will be out in about six months.....

I have both the 910D2 and 913D2 and I hit the 910D2 much more consistent than the 913 even with the same shaft in either club.  Don't know why, but I hit the 910D2 in the center of the club face 99% of the time while I'm all over the face of the 913. I have thought about the D3 but since I hit my D2 so consistently I don't see any advantage of going to the D3. I don't think there would be any distance advantage, and I've heard the D3 is better to work the ball than the D2, but I like to hit a straight ball and that's what I get with the D2. Just my opinion but the 910D2 is the best driver I've ever hit bar none. I'm just curious to see if the 915D2 will be able to match my 910D2. We'll see. As for the original poster, you can't go wrong with the 910D2.

    D3 all day long.

The feeling puring a D3 feels way more pleasurable than the D2 for me. Also, as far has performance goes, the D2 will back spin the ball a tad bit more because of the larger head. Some need that, some don't. But since you can also alter the spin with the right shaft, pic the one you prefer to look at during the address position.
