    Hey guys,

I've just made the switch to AP 2 714's as well as the 913 D2 Driver but have been having some grip pressure issues that I feel like if I can rectify, will make the feel and performances of these bad boys even better!  I previously had golf pride's on my previous set with a little extra tape for extra thickness.  I have large hands, and based on measurement it was suggested by my local pro that I put on at least mid sized grips.  Anybody have feedback on the midsized grips on either the AP's, D2, or my sm4 vokeys??

    Thanks in advance!

    Brett

My instructor recently suggested the same thing.  Like you, I had the golf pride grips with two extra wraps.  I switched to Winn Dri-Tac midsize grips a couple of weeks ago.  I love them.  Wish I had made the switch sooner.  There isn't as much taper to the grip as a standard.  At first it felt a little clunky in the hands, but after a few shots, you'll thank yourself.

I had them put on my 712 AP1s and SM4 wedge.  I'll follow suit with the 913D2 and 913Fd soon.

    Thanks Keith,

Just ordered the midsized golf pride platinum new decade multi compounds, hopefully they work as well for me as the midsized did for you.

Guest, with a brand name like "Midsize Golf Pride Platinum New Decade Multi Compound Grips" they have got to be good. Hope they work for you, and good luck with them.

I just Winn mid size grips put on my AP1's for exactly the same issues. I like the results so far, I believe you will too.
