Vokey wedge grinds

    Last year I ditched my 962's I've played with for years and went to ap2 The ap2 came 3-PW so I picked up a vokey sm 54 wedge. I can't seem to play all the shots with the vokey that I am used to playing with the 962 wedge. I'm thinking the bounce and grind is all wrong.the 962 had a heavy grind on the sole of all the clubs. Anyone know what wedge is closest to that 962 wedge?

    I also play the AP2s but 3-9. I didn't like the feel of hitting the PW into the greens. Picked up SM5's in 46.08, 52.10, and 56.12.

    i have ap2 4-GW.  GW is 50 degree.  and i just picked up SM5 54* M grind and has worked out perfectly.  About to pick up SM5 58*... just haven't decided which grind but most likely M grind.

    If you like your AP2 PW, you should consider trying AP2 GW.  Never try hitting 962s but by looking at the picture of 962, M grind may work for you. just my speculative opinion. I used to have old school vokey before the days of these different grinds and had some trouble time to time but this SM5 M grind totally feels different and it's worked out perfectly for me.
