Hi everyone, I am new to Team Titleist. I just wanted to reach out and see if anyone was using a Scotty Cameron Futura X or Futura X Dual Balanced putter and could give me a review of it. My current putter is a png ANSR 35" with a plumbing offset. Thanks!

I have the Dual Balance and love it . My putts are straighter than ever .  The only thing is I had to get past the the looks .......  And you will when you start putting with it . Other than that I absolutley love it .

Thanks for all the information everyone it was a big help!!! I am getting fitted on the 12th and will take a long look at the putters at my local Golfsmith.  Right now my next putter is SC or nothing.  I am just a little worried over the look of the Futura X and the feel on the putts as I usually am too hard on my putts and I've read that heavier mallet putters are better for if your consistently short on your distance control.  Other then that I have heard great things about the roll that the Futura X gives.  I also really like the new SC fast and squarebacks.  Needless to say I guess I have some putts to roll in the near future.  Thanks a lot everyone.

I got a Futura late last year before the Dual Balanced was available.  There was a TM with an extended handle, I would have had to learn to use the balance, and the standard Futura X was just rolling straight. While it was great in my hands, I prefer face balanced mallets.  Scotty doesn't offer many of those to the sinister golfers (LH) like myself.  You'll need to find out if you do better with a toe or face balance to be in your best family of putters.

I also came from the same ansr putter you mentioned. I have the Scotty Cameron Futura X that is Dual Balanced at 38". In a nutshell, i'm still learning how to use it. The putter is extremely well balanced, has a great soft feel, and puts a wonderful roll on the ball.

I think there's really something to the DB technology. The ball seems to stay on line and hold a tighter roll a little longer than with the traditional putters.

On the down side i seemed to struggle a little more with the shorter puts. While I made more 30'+ putts than normal, i missed just as many (or more) short ones. I think you really do just have to swing the club and let it do the work. I also have a SC Select NP2 with a super stroke girl on it. I won't be letting either go this year; i think they are both excellent putters from the best putter maker out there.

    Hope this helped.
