    When 714 AP2 irons (4-W) are ordered with the DG R300 shaft, is this considered a custom set?

    Hi John,  Yes, R300 would make it custom, and it would take about 4 days to build and ship.

    This is good to know.  I just purchased an almost-new set of Ap2 714's that were standard loft , length and lie, yet there was a serial # on all hosels.  Since they have DG R300 shafts, this explains it.  Thanks!

    Charles; Don't know if there is a difference between your 714 AP2'a and my 712 AP1's but I have the 712 AP1's 4-W with DG R300 shafts and my 6 iron is the only one with a serial number. When I ordered them I didn't know they were a custom order, but they arrived 5 days from the time they were ordered.
