I just received my brand new AP2, CB, MB Combo set. KBS Tour X-Flex, 2 degrees upright. I was fitted for CBs but decided to get 3-4 AP2s cuz they're more forgiving and MB short irons for max workability. Originally I ordered them with Golf Pride Patriot Grips but they didn't have them anymore so I got Golf Pride New Decade Multi-Compound Whiteout-Blue grips and they are SWEET. These clubs look amazing and I can't wait to use them. Too bad that can't be today because I live in Northwest PA and there's snow on the ground and it's -5 with the wind chill.

Bottom Line is try these clubs! The forgings are excellent and I guarantee you when I go play over at the Penn State golf courses this spring I'll get tons of compliments. The good thing is I'm a lefty so I won't have to let everyone hit them, haha. But for real you need to look into these irons because they will take your game to a new level. I'm adding a picture of them so you can see what I see

    Interesting combo.  Enjoy them.

Which Penn State courses do you recommend?  I'm not too far from there and have debated making the trip some saturday for a round.  But wasn't sure which course(s) we should play.

The White Course is more wide open and a little easier but still has some challenging holes and te Blue Course is tighter with water hazards and narrower fairways but both are excellent courses. You could always make it a long day and play all 36 to get the best of both worlds!

Good to know.  I actually had plans to play the Blue course last summer, but they fell through at the last minute.  Any other courses in the area you would recommend?  I'm 2 hours tops away from State College, so multiple trips isn't an issue for good courses.

Well if you're alright with spending a little more money you can always try Centre Hills, or you can go play at the State College Elks country club. Also for a good price and some great views, although it's hilly, you can play Skytop golf course, it's more reasons ably priced and it's a nice course on the top of Skytop Mountain. The best time to go to any of them including the Penn State golf courses is in late April because they have really good deals to start the season. Have fun and hit them well!

I'm a lefty as well and got some 714 AP2s and they're the best clubs I've ever hit. I like that combo, the blades are so pure looking! Good luck with those!
