After 8 years it's time to get new clubs. My 775 CBs are just wore out. My question is with all this new technology out there which is better for my game; the MBs, CBs, AP1s or AP2s? I have hit the AP1s and it's feels ok, the AP2s feels the same as my CBs (which is good), but I haven't hit the others.

I am 49, pretty athletic, decent range of motion, have a 8.5 index and I'm fairly long (I hit my CB PW 135, 7 iron 170). Any advice or comments would be greaty appreciated.

Hi ray, I'm of similar age and index and would try either the cb or mb. I tend to go with whatever feels good and looks good at address, but probably need to get on a launch monitor. I have older blades and can still work the ball either way. Wish I could putt better :)  Have fun shopping.

Thanks Ed...I went with the 714 AP2s. I know they are forged but they don't feel like my old 775 CBs. And 20 minutes after hitting the W wedge the paint came off the club. Not really happy about that!
