You can almost always find trimming guides to golf club shafts on the manufacturer's website.

The tour ad di will be a half inch off the tip and then trim the butt to desired length. The motor speeder is only butt trim to desired length.  But, please double check to make sure I am correct.

It is 1/2" for both shafts.
