Looking to buy another shaft for my 913 D3 and see that most OEM shafts are 46" in length.  What directions should be given in order to end up with a 45" length shaft with the sure fit adapter?  That is, reduce the shaft length by 1",  trim the tip by 1/2" and reduce the length by 1/2",etc.?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you.

Once you get the new shaft double check the manufacturer's tipping instructions for a driver. Most have no trimming for a driver. Titleist then tip trims 1/2" to account for the weight of the SureFit adaptor. There is no correct orientation when you epoxy the adaptor on but if you have a Pured shaft or know what setting you will playing the club in, you can position the logo etc. the way you'd like it. When the adaptor is dry, install the shaft in the head, measure total length and cut it at the butt end to what you want.

When you place your order with your pro shop for the "shaft with adaptor", just tell them standard length because 45" is our standard.  If you want to try a different swingweight, request the bezel weight that you would like to try.  We will send a bezel weight with the shaft order, if it is requested (at no upcharge).  As far as tipping, most of our shafts are tip trimmed 1/2" other than the Plus series and the Bassara.  We can tip from 0 tipping to 1.5" at your request.
