Sounds like you have yourself a set of the first gen (2008) AP's. However, hopefully you purchased them through an authorized Titleist rep. Some online companies, or bidding sites, have a TON of counterfeit clubs. 

A customer brought in a "new" set of AP2's not too long ago. They were fakes. You could literally pull out the insert on each iron and the sole was hollow (no tungsten weights). 

Anyways, like I said, pretty sure they're '08's. If you post pics, we could be able to tell you for sure.
