Hi Titleist experts,

Is it possible to have the 2012 Newport 2 mid cut down, weights changed, and grip changed... so it plays like a standard 34" putter?  

In theory I'm sure it's possible, but will the technology in the putter head act like it should if these changes are done?  Will the toe hang change?, will the Toe flow change?, will the putter need to be bent?..etc.

I'm not a fan of the notchback... and the 2009 Newport 2.7 is a definite NO!!, as I love the deep milled feel.  Currently gaming a METHOD 004 (don't hate, it's one of the best I've ever rolled), but would like to get my hands on a Scotty that looks very similar at address.  Thanks for your help.
