i recently got fitted for my new titleist d3 driver and it was an incredable experience as well.  i could not believe the technology now-a-days! 

i am from NY as well and i cannot wait for it to warm up as well!  good luck with the new clubs!

Thomas, congrats on your new sticks...I love my AP2's and Vokey triplets...Also here in NY waiting for the weather to change...

Have been playing the AP2 712's now for just over a year.  Absolutely love them!  Great feel, distance control, and--especially for me--good spin on the ball on the green.  I picked up only two Vokey SM4's with mine 54/08 and 58/06.  All are 2 degrees upright, with Dynalite Gold XP R300 shafts.  Use the 54 a lot from the fairway and pitches to the green, and the 58 primarily from the bunkers.  Come on down my way--91 today and looking at 80's tomorrow.  Have had lots of wind, though.

You ard so wright, Geoffrey. When my new 712 AP1's arrived about 2 mos. ago, and I took them out of the box, and looked at them, I realize that they looked soooo beautiful that I didn't want to play golf with them, because I was affraid I would put a scratch on them. It's like putting that first scratch your new pick up.

I also did the same thing and can't wait till they arrive. I got fitted for Titleist AP2, 3 Vokey SM4 Oil can wedges, 913 D2 and 913 F 4-wood.  I check my front door everyday and hope that they are there waiting for me. It's Christmas in March for me.   

I will post a picture of my new set when I get it. I think I am going to order a staff bag to hold all my clubs in there with the Team Titleist logo on it.
