I currently have a 910 D3 and I'm looking at getting the 913.  From what I've heard with the new 913 the spin between the D2 and D3 is about the same.  Does anyone know if this is the case?  With the 910 the differences were about 400 rpm's if memory serves me correctly, which is why I went with the D3.

    James,

Yes, the spin and launch characteristics between the both 913 models are the same.  The major difference is the 913 D2 will be more forgiving, where as the 913 D3 will be more workable.

Is there a difference in the weight of the head?  Curious if the smaller size and possibly weight would generate a mile or 2 increase in head speed.  The tradeoff is only dependent on how well one hits on center.  My first driver was 380, so my first 460 was a monster, and a 445 is likely a better visual.

    Don,

The head weights are the same.  You are correct, in that the better contact made on the center of the club face will produce faster  ball speeds.  The smaller head 913D3 hit on the center compared to the larger 913D2 hit on the center should produce similar yardage (depending on the player).

Hi james i can tell you that in my experience with both D2 and D3 913 lines the ball flight is very simular.
