  1. I just bought a sm4 48/06 Wedge to replace the pitching wedge in my set in order to get more spin and control. I know the mysterious "wedge " flex is basically an s200 but eventually i would like to install a TT DG s300 for a little stiffer shaft at Golfsmith. But to the point, i noticed that the shaft in the sm4 seems to be a little thicker when compared to the s300 in my Pitching wedge, even though they are the same length, and the rest of my irons. So are the newer true tempers a little thicker? Or is it just the s200 shaft that is thicker or am i just imagining it things??

I looked at my AP1 PW and my SM4 LW and they appear to have the same shaft diameter.  All Titleist irons ans wedges have a .355 taper tip.  Some irons of other brands have a .370 parallel tip.
