I have a 21 degree 910f with a Bassar W 55 shaft in it. I also have a orange Diamana shaft that I had from my 910 3 wood, I currently have an upgraded shaft in it now. My question is if I have the Diamana cut down to the length for my 7 wood do I need to change the weight on the bottom of the club to keep the swing weight the same? Thanks in advance.

Changing the length won't change the swingweight since the 7 wood has a heavier head vs a  3 wood; however, putting a 3 wood shaft into a 7 wood is like soft stepping an iron.  The difference in tip trimming between a 7 wood shaft and 3 wood shaft is generally 1/2" (looked it up at Golfsmith) so it may only be slightly noticeable.   For combo shafts, the difference between stiff and regular tip trimming is 2-2.5".
