Is there anyone who can give me help on any clues to know if an old Scotty Cameron made for Mizzuno is authentic?  I don't want to buy the putter and then send it in to Scotty because I don't want to spend money on a potentially fake putter.

    Thanks,

    Dan

Dan, any reputable putter dealer will already have the authentication in place since this is key to higher end putters.  Otherwise, you are gambling since Scotty prior to joining Titleist did work for a couple different manufacturers.   I would not purchase it, too much risk.

Do you have pictures?  What Mizuno Model is it?

It's hard to tell without a picture.  However, yes, Scotty did do work for Mizuno before joining Titleist.  He also designed putters for Ray Cook and I believe Founder's Club.
