  1. I am 16 and am about a 10 handicap. I am currently playing the Hogan Apex Plus's. I hit the ball fairly low. (I would like to hit it higher). I am no doubt going to get Titleist irons but I am contemplating between the CBs or AP2's. I have hit them both tons of times and just cant seem to pull the trigger on either one. Whats your guys opinions?  Besides the low ball flight, I hit the Hogans great. Just looking to upgrade.

  2. Andrew:Had the same issues toward the begining of the season when i was also changing up my clubs. My Titleist guy told me the one major difference is that the AP-2's are way more forgiving, after half a season it turns out he was dead right. My index has dropped a full point.Good luck Tony from Toronto Canada

I was choosing between the same 2 clubs, if you don't notice a difference in playability, go with which one looks better to your eye. I went with the cb's

I had both sets 712 AP2 and  712 CB with PX 5.5. I found that the CB short irons felt and worked better. I also didn't see any advantage  with AP2 in the mid or long irons. I have always struggled some with 4 and 5 irons  but still hit the CB's better. I am considering getting an AP1 irons in  4,5,&6 .

I sold the Ap2's after several range sessions with both side by side. Don't believe what you read and hear. Try them for yourself!
