I have been playing Titleist blades sense 1984. Started in high school with the Tour Model and about 7 years ago I got the 690 MB. I love both sets and still get the old ones out for a few rounds. This past week I played two different rounds with guys who were playing the AP2's. Well yesterday I picked up a set of last years AP2's, WOW this is by far the best irons I have ever played.
Distance is the same as my 690's but I can work the ball much better both right and left. The last 18 months I was having issues hitting the baby draw or fade. I was stuck with the med, to large draw & fade, not now. I was able to call every shot right or left. The baby draw is a wonderful shot. For the fist time in a long time I was able to hit all 9 shots with every club on the first swing. Not taking two or three tries and a low fade or low straight. I hit four buckets last night had to call it a night because it was dark..

Thank You Titleist for this wonderful set of irons. I hate to say it but I think the old blades might not make a return to the course.
