I will be turning 67 soon and can still my present clubs half way good. However, I'm dropping about 10 to 15 yards with my driver and where I use to hit a 7 iron I'm now hitting either 6 or 5 iron for same distance.

Any suggestion on a NEW SET of Clubs? I want to stay with Titleist.

    Thank You,

I'd love to find the answer you want to hear for myself.

Not sure of your handicap/swing speed.  The advanced fitter at my club has a sample mature player bag.  Has a 12 degree 910D2, 17/21 910F, 24/27 H, and 6-PW 912 AP1.  For display purposes, the set has all the stock shafts but in lite flex.  Through a fitting where we went through another OEM and Titleist equipment with the launch monitor for shaft selection, I ended up with about the same set but with 5-PW.  I had been using 10.5 driver/15 degree fairway and 3/4/5 hybrids.  I had Ping G10 3-GW std. steel shafts, but didn't carry the 3-4 and only carried the 5 for pitching out from under trees.  Still have steel shafted Vokey wedges, prefer the feel over the wedge extensions from the iron set.

The AP1s are 1/4 inch longer than the Pings and the inherent design along with the softer shaft has easily added well over a club to my iron distances.  The lofts are within 1 degree of each other, so it's not longer because the loft is stronger like some other OEM sets.
