    I just bought a new Scotty Newport...it has the new Black mist finish.How durable is this finish(will it wear off?)

    Are there any special care suggestions for this finish?

    Joe, 

    It is a very durable finish, but may wear with use overtime like any other finish.  You can always rub baby oil on it, but make sure to wipe clean.  Also, keep it free of any moisture when not using it.

    i would suggest a scotty cameron oil cloth. can be bought at scottycameron.com...good luck
