  1. Hi all, I'm a 5 handicap and currently play razor x irons. Will the ap2 irons give you that much better feel and contol than a game improvement iron. Any thoughts out there . Thanks

I play to a 6 handicap and I play TM MC irons which are in between ap2 and cb. The ap2 will give you a lot of control and still offers forgiveness.

Of course! The lofts may be stronger on the Razor irons, but in my biased opinion, the 712 AP2 is the best iron on the market... perhaps ever made.

    i know you're the expert, but i'm going respectfully disagree, the 712CB > 712 ap2

Very nice. Let's agree to disagree and call it a tie!

I play to an 11 HC, and carry 762's. I just had a hit with 2010 MBs. The first shot was magic, but the feel and sound didn't suit me like the 762s. I hoped I would be ready for the MBs, but I have a "sweet spot" allergy that makes the switch difficult. If the AP2s are as forgiving as the 762s, and feel as nice, then I would recommend giving them a shot. Next on my list is to try the CBs, or maybe AP2s if I can find a decent set. I am in Japan, and the shafts (so I've been told) are cut 1cm shorter than the U.S. version.
