So, I am a big time Titleist guy. My driver, woods, irons, wedges and ball have been Titleist for a while. I truly think that as a decent player there is nothing better out there. However - I have always been a png putter user, the classic Anser style is great and the proof is in the amount of companies that have a model identical to it in production. I never really understood the Scotty Cameron fixation - kind of a freaky cult following.
I just got my first Scotty putter - the new California line Monterey in 34" that I had bent about 4.5 degrees flat to fit my stroke. I get it now. I am absolutely in LOVE with this thing and I haven't even taken it to the course yet. The funny thing is that I don't get all goofy about new clubs - I have been playing long enough that new clubs to me just me an adjustment period for a few months to get used to them. I am more comfortable with my new putter after 2 days in my living room than I have been with any new club in a LONG time.
This is me - professing my conversion for all to hear. I am a Scotty Cameron disciple. I get it now.......
