Can you tell me if the Fujikura Motore Tour Spec 7.2 shaft is available with an adapter for. 910 D3? I was fitted for this shaft, but was never told it was available ( long story). I would rather not have to go with an after market adapter. Thanks!
  2. Hey you can order it as an off menu order I got mine a few weeks ago and told it would take about 3 weeks and it came in a week! its a great shaft.

Yes, you can order a Tour Spec 7.2  as an "off menu" item.  Off menu means that you can place the order, but it cannot be cancelled or changed once the order has been placed as there is no part number attached.

I had my shop call today and was told that this shaft isn't available. Cathi (or anyone from Titleist), can you help clarify?

This shaft is only available as an "off menu" item.  Can you tell me the name of your pro shop and I will call them and clarify.

Cathi, thanks for the assist! The shop is Steve Carfano's Newport Beach Golf Shop in Newport Beach, California. 949-250-1900. Great shop, great guy!

I left Steve a message regarding the shaft and our number so if he has any questions, he can give us a call.  I will pass on the praise to his rep!  Love to hear good feedback.

    Cathi,

Can you clarify to the pricing of the shaft?  I would like to order this on my fairway woods.

We don't have MSRP pricing for upcharge shafts.  Please check with both your local pro and your local retail outlet for comparison pricing.

Just to clarify on the Fujikura Motore Tour Spec 7.2 - The only flex that has passed our shaft protocol and testing is the 7.2 / 6.2 in the X flex - no other flexes have been approved.  Here is the original thread. http://www.titleist.com/teamtitleist/team-titleist/f/6/p/14614/68822.aspx#68822

Cathi - Thanks for the news, disappointing, but I really do appreciate the follow-up. If there is anything you can do to exert a little "Team Titleist" interest (pressure) to re-test/approve the shaft, it would be great. It looks like there are mulitple TT members that have an interest. I was fitted for the shaft, so it would be nice if I could play it. Too bad, I can't by the adpater and have the shop install it. Thanks again for taking up the cause and reaching out to Steve at Newport Beach Golf Shop! Scott

Hi Scott, We would offer it if it passes our shaft testing protocols.  Not all shafts pass.  It is currently undergoing testing now.  We have the X flex available and both the S and the X flex available in the standard Tour Spec.

    Cathi,

I was wondering if there has been any update on the status on whether or not the Stiff flex for this shaft has passed or failed testing?

The only VC 7.2 Tour Spec that is available to order is the X flex.  The standard VC 7.2 is available in both the S and the X. Out of the 5 guys using the 7.2 last week at the Heritage, only one used the Tour Spec.
