At some point this year i will need new irons. they will most likely be titleist i was wondering what irons. anyone would recommend, im a pretty good ball striker if i misshit its on the heel. Let me know thanks

it depends on how good of a ball striker you are and how comfortable you are at working the ball. I like to work the ball, but also favor hitting the ball straight at the pin so I have the CB...
it's all personal preference.

Hey Hunter,
well a lot of it has to do with personal preference and what feel and shot shape you are looking for.
Me personally I use a combo set of AP2 and Titleist MB's. But that's because i want a little more forgiveness in my long irons and i want to be able to shape the ball with my short irons to get tight into pins.
You can not go wrong with the AP Line, especially if you have a tendency to miss hit the ball a touch on the tow or heel you will have that forgiveness without sacrificing distance.
MB irons are a true player iron. You get a lot of feel, and ability to work the ball right to left and left to right. But the miss hits on MBs are not so pretty.
take that piece of advise, also from what you are saying your miss hits on the heel it could be a fitting problem as well. When ever you are getting new irons make sure to get them fit for your game, it will help a TON!
Good Luck.
i dont quite think i can play the mbs consistently. recently like i said ive been hitting the heel consistently on all of my clubs. I have used the dci irons with the gold arrow. If my swing is back to normal soon i can play pretty much any club.

I would recommend going thru the fitting exercise with an authorize Titleist fitter. Once you've gone thru the process, you will better equipped to gauge what works best for you.
