It's a nice idea. From a practical standpoint, you can do a great job on the logos and numbers with quality enamel paint like Titleist uses. Local hobby shops carry many options. The overall head color/finish is best left to professionals. If the finish isn't durable, you've wasted time and money. The heads can be sent to many reputable finishers to have them apply a black finish of your choice. Unlike the paintfill, this may exceed the time and money you'd like to put into the project.
