Heard a rumor that the new Scotty line will be black. Anyone seen or heard anything? Close to buying a new putter - would hate to drop the coin a week before seeing the new goods........

There will be a new Cameron Select line coming out soon. The putters will indeed have a black finish, deep milling, and so on.

New 2012 Select line of putters will be available April 1. The Mid and Long models will be available May 1. Both will feature a "Black Mist" finish, similar to what you may have seen recently on Tour.

New product usually shows up about a month prior to the launch.
Thanks - I will see about holding off. I do like the new California line - but I will have to wait now.
