Cathi/Cameron- Any chance the C-Tapers will be available in the 910 Hybrids in the Spring, whether as an up-charge shaft or an "off menu" option? Thanks in advance.

Not at this time. We use a .370 tip for our 910 hybrids and the C Tapers are .355.

Thanks Cathi. I assume I will face the same issue with the Project X PXi (when they pass Titleist testing) - as it is my understanding they are .355 tip diameter as well. Oh well. Thanks again.
  4. I was waiting on this too as I've had great success changing to the C-taper.

How about the KBS Hybrid (not the KBS tour) which is 110g in Xflex?

' Would DG R300 parallel shaft be available as an option?

what about a aldila rip for the hybrid , or a diamana thump and a project x pxi ?

Is it so hard to change a tip , because I saw some 910 with diamana thumps?

  8. You could get an independent clubmaker to install into a tip but this would void the warranty with titleist.

To install the shaft it would need to be shimmed to increase the diameter to 0.370.

I heard that the aldila rip was undergoing testing last year, am guessing that it never passed.

Am surprised that the fubuki has never been added though as that is a 0.370.

  9. Lou, the R300 would be the parallel iron version not the wood version so it would weigh 127g (again because of the 0.370 tip)

A word of warning though... steel shafts will come 0.5" shorter that the equivalent graphite in the same model to keep swingweights consistent
