I've had one now for 6 months and love it to death. Personal opinion is that it has to be one of the greatest things since sliced bread.
Originally I had a Spin-Milled 60-07 and 64-07 (been carrying a 64 degree wedge since 2006, starting with a Wilson Harmonized TW, a Cleveland CG 15 DSG 64 and an Alien 64-05 and the main use of them was having the ball stop dead with a tight pin position and on some of the courses with hard greens and bunkers). The 60-07 and 64-07 were great clubs in their own right but had some limitations (grassy lies or soft sand for the 60 and tight lies for the 64) and I traded them in for the 62-07. The 64-07 is sort of similar to the CG15 DSG 64 in sole grind (IMHO).
The 62-07 works well on grassy lies, short and high soft sand shots, hard bunkers of average size, tight lies, flop shots and so on. If I play it back in my stance on a pitch shot it behaves like a 58 (I have a full pitch shot I play 2" back of center and keep the head behind the ball and get a nice high 50 yard shot). It almost has the same sole grind as the Wilson Harmonized Trouble Wedge (I had one of those from 2007-2008) and I used to do a lot with the latter.
It has a wide flange and a full sole grind.
Has anyone else used one of these beside me? If you carry a 58, maybe add this as an X wedge.
