  1. I recently purchased a set of AP1 712 irons from a large golf retailer.   During the fitting process it was determined that my irons should be 2 degrees upright.  I ordered the set thought the retailers online site because I wanted some additional customizations (shaft / grip).

The irons were delivered the other day and they look great.  But they don't seem to be 2 degrees upright.  The packing slip indicates that they are.  But is there anyway I can confirm this besides bringing them back and having them measured?

    Thank You

    Hi Andrew,

I also ordered my 712 MB's 2° upright as well as 3 SM4's 1° upright and 1° weak. I thought something was not right. I have not hit them anywheres but indoors, off of a matt, to this point. The matt at the range was leaving marks on the toe of all of the clubs. I had them checked and they were all std. lies. I immediately sent them back to be checked out by titleist. Cathi was a great help and had them back in a week. My biggest disappointment is the fact that I received them with marks all over the heals, and just under the toe where the number is stamped, as well as at the trailing edges of all of the irons. Some are worse then others. The SM4's came back 2° upright, when they were ordered only 1° upright. All said, my custom order consisted of 11 clubs. None with the proper adjustments. I can live with the dents, but apparently there is a quality control issue here.

Hi Andrew - Whenever you place a custom order and feel that the specs were not as ordered, go ahead and check them, but please don't have them bent or changed. Loft and lie machines are not calibrated the same and it is not uncommon to have different readings. Our machines are checked and calibrated throughout the year. Let us know so that we can send out a call tag and do any necessary repair here. We will do our best to get them back to you within a week. It also helps us with our quality control so that we can go back to the builder and show them the product. When you take it to your Titleist pro shop, have them set up the Warranty check and ask for a call tag and expedited return. Give us a call at Team Titleist when you do set up the Warranty and we will follow it along and make sure it goes out in a timely manner.
