I have a 47 degree pw. I am looking to replace my cleveland wedges and switch to vokeys. I am looking for 2 wedges. Any suggestions as to what loft I should get. (I was thinking (54 and 60) or (54 and 58) or (52 and 56)?

    54 and 60. 54-11 and 60-07.
  3. TW I spent several months earlier this year trying several different wedge models and finally settled with the Vokeys I picked up 52 and 56 I found that I could do alot with my 56 around the greens as well as fairway shots I picked up 52-8 and a 56-8 took less bounce so I could open the face more and add loft. this is my preference but the best thing to do is go to your local club and play around with several lofts and bounce see what feels best for you. Just as an experiment I took an old Tour Chrome 256-10 and bent it to 57-11. This does quite a bit (hard sand, soft sand, tight lies, grassy lies). My 54-11 is bent to 55-12 and it works for me in most conditions. I have a 50-08 bent to 51 and it also does quite a bit and has enough bounce for a long soft sand shot. This is my main approach club at Riverwalk or Oaks North because the greens are pretty soft. I have a 62-07 that also does quite a bit. Honest opinion is it does more than a 60-07 and 64-07 put together. There is a certain muni course I occasionally play and the greens are sometimes like concrete. I hardly use it at Riverwalk or Oaks.
