Like many others I am part of the cameron collectors group and most of us have sent " a lot" of putters (california series included) to scotty's custom shop and adjusted everything from lie angle to colors. Having said this it is a great and reliable process that is not inexpensive but worth the cost no doubt since you truly get a unique product back at the end that fits your game. If you are looking for cosmetic changes send in one putter to have some minor detailing done such as a new stamp or if you wish a major renovation have the gold color stripped and the raw steel exposed which is gorgeous along with a custom color job! I have done both and have never been disappointed.
Hope this helps! Good Luck!

The custom shop is top notch. I've sent in a couple of putter for new shafts and LL adjustments. I like to DIY paintfill, but the CS is the way to go. If you're just getting a LL adjust any golf shop could help you with that for way less, but if you want something sweet, or you're getting a reshaft then send it in to the CS. You won't regret it.
I pull the grips on mine and just mail the head. Then I get the reshaft. If you don't like the size or want to switch it up you'll still have your old shaft as a back up.
