your going to switch to tm because of color. tm makes junk clubs compared to titleist. there are bigger priorities than color

Some people want a little flash in their bag- Ive played Titleist clubs all my life- I will never switch- But some options would be nice- Why can't you mix color with Titleist's technology and feel capabilities together?

I think white club heads would be a nice option, and tm doesn't make "junk clubs compared to titleist," titleist had ideas from tm, like the interchangeable shaft and heads.

I'm heavily against going white. its just a gimmick. I really didn't see any need for the hype. yes its white it looks different, but I don't think it looks any better. I say stay black on black its thes sexist look for a driver.

If you love your Titleist driver and just want to change the color, check out www.bigwigzskins.com, These guys have developed a vinyl coating that can make your driver any color or design you can think of. I saw them at the PGA show last year and the product looked great.

Just refurbed mine after a season long skying issue, I had white metallic acrylic paint so Tried it, love the results, painted the crown only and it looks like new. Sending this from my phone and can't attach a pic but can grab my laptop later and add a pic if you want.
  7. I'm a traditional kind of guy, so, I prefer the "traditional look". To each their own.

I would personally be extremely disappointed if Titleist made white metals. I would have a hard time buying them although I probably still would because I'm a loyal Titleist fan. I know for sure I would never switch to TM though.

I would be very disappointed if Titleist choice this direction. What performance would Titleist gain? ZERO Taylormade got what they wanted their company to achieved, a club that when spotted people will say that's a TM club. I see nothing Us Titleist diehards would gain from that. JMO

Yes, agreed they can have white drivers and us titleist users will have the best.

What is wrong with offering some selection. I moved to the 712 cb irons this winter, love them. I play what is best, not what I am told is the best. Titleist, in my opinion, makes the best irons, so I play them.

However, I believe tm currently makes the best driver on the market, so I play the R11. yes I like the white head but would play it because it is better. I think that many people buy into the hype and marketing of titleist rather than the quality of the clubs. Granted they make one hell of a club. However, their marketing strategies often lead many pleople to believe they should be honored and priviledged to play their clubs. Come on people do not be sheep (Scotty Cameron putter=$350!?!, I mean you gotta be nuts to truly believe they are hundreds of dollars better than other putters) Offer white..........

Exactly the pros play what works and I do the same by playing r11 long clubs ping tour irons and all titleist wedges and putters and a hybrid.

its all about what fits you best and if the r11 does go with it. This comes from personal experience, but i play the r11 because the spin rate is much lower than the 910. i still like the 910.

Found out today that TM has dropped the R11. Burner will be the only option in 2012. Go figure...

RBZ (Rocketballz) is replacing the Burner line up with a Slot technology similar to Adams- and the R11 is coming out with a new R11s which will have more fitting options in the center plate to adjust the face- Both are white headed drivers.

    Just for your info......

TM didn't really drop the R11. they just release the R11S line. witch is an even more crazy club that i think really isn't as good as the 910 line.

I think Titleist should be able to blend their current feel and performance in their metal woods with a white headed driver. I am a Titleist loyalist, always have been and always will be- but having some options and putting some flare and style in the bag is never a bad thing- Just release something like that in 5 year intervals.

White looks gimicky and awful!  It's a ploy to get you to use their junk clubs.

    Resist the albino.

I am not a fan of the white heads.  The club should sell based on performance, not color.

Their clubs are not junk at all!
  22. Some pretty good players hit that "junk club" most notable Luke Donald who is actually equipment wise Mizuno sponsored.

I think the white head on the tm is a bit gimmicky and the surefit technology is the real deal, and the white head is not going to make you play better, so i would stick with titleist and play better golf

I think the white head is a fad and will fade with time. It just doesn't look right when you're addressing the ball.

I speaking on my own experience with TM woods I owned in the past compared to my experiences with Titleist. I am not impressed with TM's quality hence the junk reference. Anyone can design or refine a design but to build with quality is another thing

Josh M, you are entitled to your opinion. Have fun with the albino. Not my cup of tea.

It's not hype if it's the top brand out there. This day in age there is a lot of parity with club technology. Golf clubs must first and foremost inspire trust for the player. Without that who cares... If you don't trust your equipment then you won't play well.

I happen to trust Titleist and FootJoy based on my experiences. Everyone is different and that is okay.

    Cheers

No!!! TM only did it to sell pretty bad clubs, I play an r9 and like it better than the r11. Other than that I'm all titleist and would hate to see titleist go white. STAY WITH BLACK!!!!
