I had to post this. I just "discovered" that my beautiful wife just got me two custom Vokey TVD Black Oxide wedges for Christmas. 53* and 59*. I am almost afraid to hit them because they look amazing. Thank you Titleist and Mr. Vokey for producing such beautiful clubs. Has anyone used them before and what are your opinions?

awesome Fernando -  a merry Christmas indeed!  My wife bought me two TVDs as well over this past season, a 54 and a 58 - they have probably given me more success on the golf course than any other clubs I have ever owned.  They do what you need them to do - and more - simply awesome wedges.

I have three, The 52,56, And 60 I love them. The finish wears off the sole pretty fast but they are still very nice

    Hi Fernando,

you will give in to the temptation and will enjoy every swing. I have the 54 and 58 TVD's in the Black Oxide. They will try to rust up if you let them, but I make sure that I stay on top of that by giving them a little rub down with gun oil.

    They are amazing!

    Enjoy,

    Mark

    Fernando-

I just ordered the TVD Black Oxcide wedges myself back in October and I must say they are a pretty big change from other wedges I have played especially if you have been accustomed to the red stamped spin milled wedges. With the CC grooves on my new TVD wedgesI have noticed a big change around the greens in terms of spin- The ball definitely seems to roll out much further. In addition that action I get from the fairway or bunkers is much less aggressive and has allowed me to hit it closer to the pin from 110 yards and in.

    Enjoy!
