Has anyone tested a 58 and 60 with same bounce and noticed a huge difference.

I have about a 10 yard gap between the two at full swing. Also for me the 60 is more appealing to the eye. i am just more comfortable with a 60.

I don't find a lot of difference between the two. The most lofted wedge that I carry is a 58-09 SM4. I find that I can get out of any steep faced bunker with it and it is a great club from the fairway. For me it is a full shot from 85 yards. The 60 normally goes just under 80 yards for me.

I get about 75 on a full swing with a 58 and 55 on a full pitch. The 60 is about 65 on a full shot and a litle less than 50 on a full pitch. The 58 rolls more on the green a little. I use a 62 for an L wedge.

I just picked up a Vokey Spin-Milled c-c 58-04 since I saw a need for a low bounce lob/sand wedge. That also is a very versatile wedge around greens and in the bunkers. With a little trickery I was able to hit a bunker shot in somewhat soft sand. It even did well on the mound to a pin down the hill. The wide flange overcomes the low bounce so it also works on grassy lies. I tried a 60-04 some time ago and it would dig a hole to China on some of the better maintained courses.

About two years ago I carried a Vokey Tour Chrome 60-04 and it worked very well on courses with tight lies but would tend to dig on some of the better manicured courses. The 58-04 doesn't seem to dig. One thing you will get with the 58 is a little more roll when you hit chip and pitch shots vs the 60.
