    So my early Christmas gifts arrived two weeks ago. A new set of 712 CB / MB's with KBS extra stiff tour shafts. After a fitting, it was decided that I best split my set at the 6 iron. I was going to hold off and did last week, but given that the weather in New England this past weekend was in the 60's, I couldn't wait any longer and gave them a test run. I was playing with the AP2's, and hitting them well, so this was not an easy change, and wasn't sure it was the right thing to do especially with only a couple rounds left in the year at best. After making the decision, it was the right one. Titleist yet again continues to deliver performance, looks, and pride! Have a great holiday season to all TT members!

    That is a great way to split your set. I also have a split set of CB / MB 712s. The 4,5, and 6 are CB and the rest are MB. Great feeling irons and the CB helps with the long irons. I try to get more players to think of this set makeup when they goto the MBs.
