Ok so i've been looking at the Burner superfast driver... But the mens is a little big because im only 5"2 , so should i get the mens version or the womans version they r both the same price. Im 14 also so should i just buy the mens and grow into it or by the womans cause it fits better now.... Btw im pretty good and I play in a lot of tournaments.

    Thanx

The shaft on the women's club is a bit flexible and you may have a hard time hitting it straight. You CAN have the men's club shortened 1 inch or so and then have an ultralight grip (such as a Winn Lite, which is half the weight of a conventional grip - it will restore the 5 or so swingweight points you lost by cutting the shaft 1 inch). Then when your height grows you can add a shaft extension.

Please have your swing speed checked at your local golf shop. You definitely should go with the mens because the lighter whippier womens flex will cause you to slice your tee shots where-as a mens regular should be ok for you. One side note as well - I know how younger kids are  and if yoou play in alot of tournaments I hate to see some one make a comment about you playing a womens club and get you out of your rhythm since this cruel game we play is mostly mental anyways. Good luck.

thats a good point!  The mens is good because you could grow into the mens, but the womens does offer more flex.  Go with the mens unless u can get a custom fit.  Btw wat tournaments do u play in?

    good luck with your game
