I just recently bought a D2 and have been playing with it for about 3 months now.  I love the driver but there are chips in the paint, where the crown meets the face on the top and bottom of the club.  I have not hit any balls on the crown (e.g skying a ball) but it is still chipping in both places .  Although i know this does not probably influence the performance of the club it bothers me at my address to the ball.  I wondered if I could get this repaired through my warranty (if it is still good) or even could send it to Titleist to get this fixed and pay for the repair, can anyone help who has experienced this same problem?  thanks for any help......

    Nectarios,

Take the club to your authorized Titleist dealer, where they can send it into our Warranty and Repairs Department.  We will inspect the club head, and since it is still under warranty, will determine if a re-head is in order.

The Warranty and Repairs Department will analyze the situation, but it sounds like it will fall under warranty.  If they decide against it being covered under warranty, they will contact you with your options (re-head with a charge).

Could you give me an estimate on how much the re-head would be if it does not fall under the warranty? and do I ned to send anything with the club e.g. reciept or something....

    Nectarios,

$340.  You can just send the whole club in, but will need to send it through an authorized Titleist retailer.
