  1. Here's a return to the archives. The Tour Prestige model ball. IMHO, the best all around ball Titleist ever made. Why was it ever discontinued, will it ever be brought back? Maybe with a slightly more durable cover. That, if anything, was the only concern I ever had with it. But the feel & performance to me, was unmatched, even by ProV1.

You would be the exception to the rule. I would say that for most people, advancements in the current line up of Titleist ball offerings are performing better than any historic line of balls. Maybe you will luck into a "garage find" some day and can stock up on some oldies like we occasionally see when a 63 Corvette magically appears on a farm in West Virginia. :)

You're asking if Titleist will make a liquid-center wound ball again? The answer is no.

That is certainly going back to the archives. The Tour Prestige was a great ball. I remember when it came out. It was the next evolution from the Balata to the Professional then the Prestige that eventually gave way to the first ProV1 and where we are at today.

During it's time, there was nothing better on the market.

The R&D has worked diligently to improve the quality and performance of the Titleist ball and I know the newer balls have spoken for their hard work, Prov1 and Prov1x. Agree with Dale, Brock's comments and and Cher, who said "if you could turn back time". NO. With respect. =)

Loved the 1st edition pro v1. That ball could do some stuff! Of course, I was a few years younger too!
