Can someone at Titleist give us an update of the left Dot availability? When and if they will hit the market?

Titleist never releases proprietary information here in advance of a public announcement. Based on feedback on this site and prior releases, I’d expect an announcement at the PGA show next week. Likely will be released but through limited marketing, maybe direct only through My Titleist and definitely no optic amber.
My advice and $1 will get you a coffee at most McDonald’s.
  3. Is My Titleist the same thing as Team Titleist? Or do you need to be registered separately for My Titleist? If they do end up only releasing through that platform, I want to be sure that I'll be notified they're available.

Kyle. "My Titleist" is the purchasing part of the website. If you are registered under Team Titleist (which you are if you have posted this question) then you have access to all that you need. You can also watch the "News" tab for key information.

    Official announcement to come soon.
  6. Gosh I hope it happens soon. I bought one sleeve last season on ebay just to try as an experiment. Best Titleist ball I've ever played with! I've only used Titleist balls for 25 years. Low spin with great distance off driver and long clubs. Wonderful control with shorter shots and pitching / chipping. Feels great off the putter face.
I let myself splurge last year and bought 3 dozen at a very hefty price. Can't do that anymore because the price on ebay, which is the only place I've been able to find them, is basically starting at $200 and up. If they are released only on the Titleist website, I sure hope I get a notification as a TT member because I didn't last time. Lookinf forward to lots of golf in 2022!

I don't know if the left dot will be made for retail sales or not, but I hope for one thing. Titleist, please manage the sales in such a manner as to prevent, or make more difficult, profiteering by flipping the balls on ebay or other sites. There are TT members who want to PLAY the ball and can't get it, so please find a way to give them a chance to buy the balls instead of having so many go to flippers.

    Thank you!

I agree 100%, but this has been an age old issue and do not see how they can control it. Even as unusual as it may seem, Team Titleist members, in the past have been know to sell items from the TT Invitationals on eBay. They is no loyalty when it comes to the love of money. These are items that have the TT logos on them, so they are very easy to recognize. This has been a sore subject with our members for many years. When you sell (or give away as a promotion or in a registration package) something on a online site, you cannot control what the buyer does with that product. It is theirs's to do with as they please. How would you enforce it? Do not see how. =(

The pro at my club got a few left dots. He gave me one and I LOVE it. Unfortunately, once it's gone, it's gone. Would love to put that into play full time. Hoping they come back and I can get a few dozen for the right reasons.

That's the only I am waiting on for the 2022 golf season is information on if the Left Dot will be available for purchase. Update, also for the snow we just got to disappear & temps to increase from single digits. But those things I know will happen..

  13. Hi everyone,

Looking forward to the golf season up here in Toronto Canada.

I too am anxiously awaiting the release and availability for the pro v1 left dot ball. I play the left dash during the summer. I would like to have the left dot an option for the spring and fall as it will play softer in cooler temperatures.

    Cheers boys!

I still have a dozen left from the sale earlier this year. I'm guarding them with my life! I played last week with one ball out of the sleeve the entire round. It's my favorite ball now! It really goes off the tee & I love it in the wind. It was really windy that day & my knockdowns were just boring thru the wind with no problem. The spin around the greens is unreal. I hit a few chips & pitches that just stopped on a dime. And one bunker shot that zipped back & the other guys in the group were like "Whoa dude... what ball is that?"
I really hope they go to production. I would hate to see just the pros having access to these. I know it's not on any of the dropdowns yet when you fill out your bag. So that's not encouraging to say the least. But I'm crossing my fingers.

Just following along with this discussion, did anyone hear an update regarding availability? I am trying out the left dash this spring, but would also like to try the left dot out as well.

No news, yet. Holding onto my last 6 so I won’t remember how much I liked them. ..If they don’t come to market.

I'll raise my hand as another player who was lucky enough to pick up 2 dozen in the initial release and loved them. They would absolutely be my ball of choice with a widespread retail release.

This ball needs to be released to the masses! I wish I could win a years supply of them!! LOL ;)
  19. Hopefully we hear something soon about the release date of the left dot balls. Titleist is back logged on orders right now so maybe the balls will be released later in the spring- may/June

    Cheers boys!

I'm definitely going to ask the guys when I'm at the Titleist Event in June. This is a ball that I love! I don't play it on tight golf courses where I could possibly lose it .... it's that good. Last 2 rounds I've been able to play with the same ball all 18 without losing it or hitting any cart paths or trees

So disappointed I wasn't able to pick up any Left dots on the initial launch. It sounds like the perfect ball for me. Hopefully it becomes available again.

Any info about Left Dot being available again? You would think since the demand is so high they would produce alot more.....

I think what this is actually telling us is that the demand isn't actually that high. If it was, we'd have it at retail. I've never even tried the Left Dot, but as a Left Dash player where it gets cold, I'd love something in the low spin category that was a little softer, but not the marshmallow that AVX is.
  25. Once the general public has access to the left dot and plays it for a few rounds, they may never go to another ball. Its the dam unicorn of golf balls
