With four premium options, there’s a golf ball suited for every player. And while these models all provide golfers with best-in-class performance and quality, there are key performance differences between the models that are relevant when considering which ball is the best fit for your game.

So, in our latest quick poll we want to know which of these Titleist golf balls you're teeing up. AVX my go to. But I’m going to give newest V1 some tries.
  6. Being more of a beginner that doesn’t worry about spin around the green I am a huge fan of the AVX ball. I work in April shop and am always telling people how it increases carry due to the low spin feature! Best ball I’ve hit to date.
  7. the left dash is a BEAST off the tee.......nothing longer on the market, but its too firm for me in the short game and i cannot get it to spin enough.

    the v1x balloons for me.....

the AVX is very soft feeling and has decent length off the tee but also does not spin enough in the short game

The V1 may be the best ball ever invented......its unbelievable. This ball does it all.....long as the AVX off the tee, great spin off the scoring irons and the feel is perfect.
  8. Keep going back to the AVX, seems to roll out longer and love the sound coming off my Scotty!
  9. Love the left- for better control with short iron approaches. X would spin back off the green sometimes...
  10. The AVX is a solid ball. I actually like the AVX over the pro V1's. Any urethane ball in this day and age is pretty good though.
  11. I like the feel and distance I get with the avx

  13. I have a low flight and need all the help I can get to get the ball up

Pro V1X is the best one for me! Love the higher flight and greenside control!

The left dash is the best, top performing ball for my style of swing. It’s a night and day difference from the pro v1x. It’s longer, stops as quickly and feels better off all the clubs

The V1 is a superior ball for my game in all catagories. My swing speed is less than 90 and I a play the forward tees.

I'm a mid teens handicap at best, and can honestly say that switching up balls really has no affect on my scores, so for me it's all about which ball feels and performs the best for me. I have a bag full of all of the Titleist models, and I always mark my ball (no matter the brand) by covering the model identification completely with a red sharpie. So when I grab a Titleist I never really know which one it is until the red wears off enough to reveal the model. Unintentionally it's like I am doing a blind test. Hands down, the favored ball is the AVX.
Also, if you find any in the rough with the model blanked out in red, please return them to me at your earliest convenience. To save on shipping cost you can wait until you have at least a dozen. Shouldn't take long.
  19. I love the feel and ease of hitting Pro v1xs. Shots to the green stop on a dime.
  20. I only play Titleist and love everything about the quality of the brand. I have consistently shot my lowest rounds while playing a ProV1. Love the control and distance. However, playing in a northern climate, I often switch to the AVX in the fall, during the colder (below 45 degrees) temperatures and notice more distance and stopping on the greens. Anyone else on Team Titleist have a similar experience?
  21. Absolutely agree. I play the AVX in the cooler months/winter. They are not as harsh on the body when I mishit with the irons, and they seem to fly really well in the cold air. Last winter we were playing in sub freezing temperatures and the ground got so hard that we were driving the shorter par 4s and getting on the par 5s in 2 with ease because the balls bounced down the fairways like pavement. I could see my bright yellow AVX in that gray winter light perfectly.
  22. Conducted quite a bit of testing on the course for my game and won’t be playing anything but the AVX. 2 or 3 strokes better for me. Just got the yellow AVX and they glimmer in the sun. Amazing golf ball!
