It would be awesome if Titleist offered a golf ball sampler pack to TT members for purchase. 1 sleeve of every Titleist ball they offer.

    What do you think?

    Just for fun.

Most of us have already done our ball testing and selection so we usually lock into one specific type. For me, it would be a waste to get sleeves of anything else except what I play. Most store will sell by-the-sleeve so you can get your "sampler" that way. Just not really a market for a formal sampler pack, in my opinion. Could be wrong.

Very good point, Dale. Titleist accounts sell individual sleeves. Cannot see it being of value to TT members. With respect.

I see 8 ball types listed on the website and that is not counting various colors offered of certain balls. It would be a pretty expensive sampler pack if it is truly every ball they offer...

I agree that it would be a benefit for Titleist to allow individuals to 1) complete an online ball fitting and then 2) allow individuals to purchase two sleeves of their recommended ball and alternative ball instead of having to purchase a dozen of each.

I’ve been lucky in that I’ve been able to be fitted by a Titleist rep for golf balls. Not everyone is as lucky and the above suggestion might bring more people into the Titleist family.

...But would they have to offer an amber package as well?

I can't imagine too many golfers would want to extensively trial 6 different balls. I only spend a decent amount of time on 2 (V/AVX). I have a box of TourSoft that I've never trialed head to head and probably won't. Too close in price to the Loyalty package.

Beer is an entirely different case.

Don, you can purchase a sampler pack of beer at Whole Foods, Publix, Harris Teeter and some liquor stores.......you pick the six pack (individual bottles by brand), of course at a premium price.....problem solved....like my golf balls I stick to certain brands of lager beers.... ; )

For those who are in search mode, it sounds like a good idea. What I'm thinking though is how about using the 2-pack samples that they use at the Titleist ball fittings.

I'm with Dale; I usually fund a ball that suits me and stick with it.

I agree, I have my ball and I'm happy with it.

I was thinking it would be fun to switch it up and try different Titleist offerings, and then it would lead to some more conversation here; having tried all the balls, we could really put some good info out to other TT members looking for info.

It would be expensive too, you are right.

Well I'll grab some sleeves at the course.

Whether it's ProV1, ProV1x, AVX, Tour Soft, Volocity, or TruFeel, you will find loyal follows on the forum who tell you each of these are a good fit for them. Great that Titleist provides us with these options based on everyone's game and price point. Another nice part of being a TT member is the occasional opportunity to help in testing of future releases. Titleist will mail out sleeves of test balls to random members to get feedback as part of the pre-release testing. I know you know this already being a triple-digit poster but thought i would add it for new members reading this post. Hit'm straight and have fun out there!
  12. I’ll take a sample

I know I would appreciate that option, especially the 2-packs. That is just where I am in my golf journey right now, however. I realize many people have been gaming the same ball for years now and are happy with it. A sampler pack would be good for someone like me who has started to take it more seriously and is no longer playing whatever he can get his hands on. It would also make for a nice gift.

Interesting idea, I’ve already done this myself by doing what was mentioned above and buying a sleeve from the pro shop before a round. Already knew what to expect from the Pro V1/V1x but wanted to try the AVX. Still found myself coming back to the Pro V1, so I stay gaming them.
