I know this is weird, but in my inventory of golf balls I have ProV1, ProV1x, NXT Tour, and NXT Tour S. I've been playing a dozen yellow NXT Tour S' my mother-in-law gave me for XMAS two years ago, and am loving them right now. I love the soft feel. I'm pretty sure I'm not hitting it further than with the ProV1, but love the lower flight, and the super-soft feel around the green and especially for putting. I can just take a whack at it with my putter, and the distance is dead on. I just need to worry about the line. Now I just need to decide what happens when I lose the last one. Do I go buy used NTX Tour S balls, or do I give the Tour Softs a try. Big decisions.

Id go with the Tour Soft if you like the NXT Tours.
  3. Yeah I've just ordered some Tour Softs hoping they will turn out to be a good ball for me.

I had a feeling they were an NXT replacement but not

Tour Soft is close to the NXT Tour. Any Titleist ball is a good choice.

The Tour Soft combines the best of both of the NXT balls and yes it is the replacement ball.

I played the Tour Soft I got from my company (SPECTRUM) and found they are softer feel than my AVX and ProVs. Hav,e not lost any distance either. May stay with them...

Yep John, the Tour Soft is the current version that is a close match to the old NXT's in performance, feel, and price. You might also give the AVX a try if you like the low ball flight. It also has a feel off the clubs very much like the Tour Soft. You shouldn't have to worry about stocking up the garage with old NXT's. I think you will like the newer ball.

Thanks for the information! If I was smart, I’d buy a sleeve of Tour Softs and AVX’s and try them on the putting green with a NXT S before I lose my last one.
