I picked up my first dozen yesterday, but in AVX. I received my 4 dozen Pro V1 balls yesterday from Titleist, too (finally!). I’ve been wanting to try AVX and yellow and figured it was a great opportunity. No golf today, but first thing tomorrow. I’m not imagining a performance difference because of color, though. I may notice a difference because of AVX V. Pro V1.
  2. I found a lost AVX the other day and used it for about 6 holes and noticed that it had a little lower ball flight (I hit it fairly high) and less spin around the green. Driver distance was about the same as my ProV. It’s a nice ball too but I like my ProVs.
    hit em great!!!
  3. Yellow or white, makes no difference to me. The balls performance will be Identical, but may have said yellow helps them focus more I did not see that in my game. I use white because I prefer the colour. I guess it's just personal preference.
  4. It took a bit to get used to hitting a yellow ball. I did notice it came off the driver a little lower but could have been just me.
  5. For people with bad eye site, do the yellow PRO V1 seem easier on the eyes to see and hit? Have not played them yet and curious?

OMG, yes. Especially on a cloudy day. When others are using white balls on cloudy days, I don't see them by the time they hit the horizon. I have stockpiled Pro-V1 and AVX in amber. Still have some previous version Pro-V1 in white to use on sunny days.

I LOVE THE NEW YELLOW PROV1X!!!!
    THEY ARE LIKE LASERS!!!!
Just carded a 71 with a Double and two bogey's....argh!!!
I like the yellow because it's easy to spot and for some reason it gives me a little punch in my game.
Combine this ball and TS metals golf is fun!!!!

I play with both, white / yellow pro v / AVX balls all the time.
Me personally the yellow is easier too see.
Flight wise and performance white / yellow pro vs are the same as are white / yellow AVX balls.
    I love them!!

got mine a few weeks ago, but working on using my current supply first. Only this was that you couldn't get high or custom numbers on the yellow proV1X
  10. Haven't hit the yellow Prov1 so I don't know but I have been hitting the Velocity ball. Then I got some Velocity VISI white balls and I really like them. They do have a better feel. Still the same long off the tee but you can tell they are a little softer feel.

I play yellow Pro V1. Didn't notice a difference except easier to find and harder for people to steal since they play a white ball ;)

I've been playing the yellow AVX since Nov '17. The best feeling is when our group starts out to the fairway after our drives. I love seeing my playing partners' shoulders drop when they see that single yellow ball way out in front of all the white balls, knowing well before we get there, who had the longest drive! No need to say a thing. That yellow ball sitting out front makes the point strongly enough!
  13. I'm hoping to find one on the course to try. Just too much of a white ball traditionalist to buy a dozen.

  15. Well, I bought the yellow ProV’s when they arrived at the local golf shop. I was actually the first to get them after ups dropped them off. Here’s my dilemma. I got a hole in one at Cedarbrook country club on June 4th on hole 6 par 3. I was by myself. Not a soul at any of the other surrounding holes. God saw it. I still have my ball. If you come across a ball with a stick man on it.... it’s mine usually
  16. Congrats on your Hole in one!!
  17. I love the yellow one's. I played the yellow AVX last year, and got 4 dozen ProV1 yellows for this year. Easier to see for sure

I have come to prefer playing with the yellow. I pick it up better especially in the fall or spring or on cloudy days. One thing I have noticed, maybe coincidence, but it always seems like whenever I am playing with someone using white balls, we always have a tendency to find my yellow one 1st.
  19. I'm looking forward to taking the avx to the course. Spent a good time putting with it but haven't had the chance to get a full swing on it.

People keep saying lower flight so with the ap1's it should be a great combo.

  20. I have played 10 rounds with the yellow ProV1s. They feel harder and don’t seem to have the same spin off low speed shots like chipping. Sure are easier to see and they don’t get dinghy from multiple rounds like the white ones!

I switched from ProV1 to ProV1x after the mygolfspy ball testing and put the yellow ones in play 2 weeks ago and don't want to every play any other ball again! I wish "Yellow ProV1x" was an option on my profile instead of "ProV1x"!!!!
