    Im a short hitter that needs distance but doesnt want to give up the feel and spin into greens. Presently use pro v1

    That's me too and that's what I use. AVX will give you a bit more roll out but I don't hit it high enough to get max apex, especially on wet or soft fairways so I am sticking with ProV1.

    Pro v1, AVX if very windy / wet.

    I’m gona give the new pro v1x a bash this season normally use tour softs (nxt) but for the first time ever I went out and bought a dozen new premium balls today.........and I will use every second of my 3 minutes to look for these
